Site Supervisor
Job Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, supervising workers and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. The role focuses on maintaining quality standards, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily site activities and workforce deployment.
Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment required for site operations.
Monitor labour productivity and work progress against project schedules.
Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
Report site progress, issues, delays, and resource requirements to management.
Verify work completion and ensure rectification of defects or non-conformities.
Maintain site records, attendance, material consumption reports, and daily progress reports.
Assist in resolving site-related operational challenges.
Required Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Higher Secondary/ITI qualification with substantial site supervision experience may also be considered.
3 to 7 years of relevant site supervision experience.
Basic understanding of construction methods, drawings, and site practices.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and quality requirements.
