Site Engineer
Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities at project sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor daily site construction activities.
Ensure all work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Verify measurements, quantities, and work completed for billing and documentation purposes.
Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
Review and manage material usage, deliveries, and inventory at the site.
Ensure adherence to project schedules and support timely project completion.
Maintain accurate records, site reports, inspection reports, and project documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
2 to 5 years of relevant site engineering experience.
Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and site management.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of construction quality standards and health & safety regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD.
