✓Downstream Processing (DSP): Perform basic downstream purification techniques including cell disruption, filtration, precipitation, ultrafiltration, and chromatography to isolate active enzyme proteins.Enzyme Characterization & Assays: Develop, validate, and perform enzymatic assays to determine enzyme activity, kinetic parameters ($K_m$, $V_{max}$), temperature/pH stability profiles, and substrate specificity.
✓Application Testing: Evaluate enzyme performance under simulated commercial conditions for target industries (e.g., starch hydrolysis, baking, brewing, textile desizing, or protein hydrolysis).Scale-Up & Technology Transfer: Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Technology Transfer Dossiers (TTD), and coordinate with Pilot Plant / Production teams during process scale-up.Documentation & Safety: Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, record experimental data in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and ensure safe handling of biological agents and hazardous chemicals.
