Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
Maintain and troubleshoot LT panels, HT panels, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, PLC-controlled systems
Ensure proper functioning of motors, transformers, generators, UPS, and DG sets
Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance schedules
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimize machine downtime
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company SOPs
Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts records
Support installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment
Implement energy-saving initiatives and improve electrical efficiency
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems
Hands-on experience with control panels, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Knowledge of PLC basics, VFD programming, and automation systems (preferred)
Understanding of electrical safety standards, LOTO, and statutory compliance
Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and work in shift operations
Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Certifications
Electrical Supervisor / Wireman License
Safety Training / EHS Certification
HT License (if applicable)
