Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Director – Consulting to lead strategic client engagements, drive consulting practice growth, and deliver transformative business outcomes. The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, oversee large-scale consulting programs, and be responsible for revenue growth, client relationships, operational excellence, and talent development.
This role requires extensive experience in consulting, business transformation, digital strategy, and practice leadership, along with a proven ability to develop high-value client relationships and build sustainable consulting businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Consulting Leadership
Lead complex consulting engagements across strategy, business transformation, operational excellence, digital transformation, and organizational effectiveness.
Advise Board members, CXOs, and senior executives on strategic initiatives and business challenges.
Develop enterprise-wide transformation roadmaps aligned with client objectives.
Provide thought leadership on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Client Relationship Management
Build and manage strategic relationships with key clients and executive stakeholders.
Act as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor for major accounts.
Drive client satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth.
Lead executive-level workshops, reviews, and business transformation discussions.
Practice Growth & Business Development
Own consulting revenue, profitability, and business growth targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
Lead large proposal responses, contract negotiations, and solution presentations.
Develop consulting offerings, frameworks, and go-to-market strategies.
Engagement & Delivery Oversight
Ensure successful delivery of major consulting engagements and transformation programs.
Establish governance structures, quality standards, and risk management frameworks.
Monitor project performance, financials, resource allocation, and client outcomes.
Drive measurable value realization and business impact for clients.
Leadership & Talent Development
Lead and mentor Associate Directors, Principal Consultants, Engagement Managers, and Consulting Teams.
Drive capability development, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Champion diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives.
Digital & Business Transformation
Guide organizations through large-scale transformation initiatives involving:
Digital Transformation
AI & Automation
Cloud Adoption
Enterprise Applications (ERP, CRM)
Data & Analytics
Business Process Re-engineering
Shared Services & Operating Model Transformation
Support organizations in achieving operational excellence and digital maturity.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
MBA, Master’s Degree, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
15-20+ years of progressive experience in Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, Business Transformation, or Digital Consulting.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale consulting engagements and client portfolios.
Strong experience working with C-suite executives and Board-level stakeholders.
Proven experience managing consulting P&L, business development, and practice growth.
