Stores & SCM Executive
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stores & Supply Chain Management (SCM) Executive with 1-3 years of experience to oversee inventory management, store operations, material movement, and supply chain coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal stock levels, timely procurement, accurate inventory records, and seamless coordination between suppliers, production, logistics, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Ensure proper storage practices and compliance with company safety standards.
Prepare reports on inventory status, stock movement, and material consumption.
Track supplier deliveries and follow up on pending orders.
Maintain documentation related to stores, inventory, and supply chain activities.
Support implementation of inventory control and cost optimization initiatives.
Assist in ERP transactions related to inventory and supply chain management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in stores management, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, automotive, or industrial environments.
Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and inventory audit procedures.
Familiarity with material planning, demand forecasting, and procurement processes.
Understanding of supply chain KPIs and inventory optimization techniques.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
