Job Title: Steel Fabricator
Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled Steel Fabricators to cut, shape, assemble, and fabricate steel structures and components as per engineering drawings and project specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience in metal fabrication, welding support, and the use of fabrication tools and machinery while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Measure, mark, cut, drill, grind, and shape steel materials.
Assemble steel components such as beams, columns, frames, platforms, and structures.
Operate fabrication equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
Fit and align fabricated parts according to specifications.
Assist in welding, erection, and installation activities when required.
Inspect fabricated items for accuracy and quality.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
Follow workplace safety regulations and company policies.
Work collaboratively with welders, fitters, engineers, and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8th Pass / 10th Pass preferred.
ITI in Fitter, Welder, Fabricator, or related trade is an advantage.
Experience in steel fabrication, structural fabrication, or metalworking preferred.
Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
Physically fit and capable of working in workshop and site environments.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and assembly.
Experience using cutting, drilling, grinding, and welding equipment.
Familiarity with MS (Mild Steel), SS (Stainless Steel), and structural steel sections.
Good measuring and layout skills.
Understanding of workplace safety standards.
