About The Role

✓ Process Optimization: Analyze existing manufacturing workflows to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. They apply principles like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to streamline operations.
✓ Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring that the right materials, equipment, and labor are available at the right time to meet production targets.
✓ Quality Control: Work with quality assurance teams to set and enforce quality standards. They monitor the production line to ensure products meet specifications and perform root cause analysis for any quality issues.
✓ Equipment Management: Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of production machinery and equipment to maximize uptime and prevent breakdowns. They may also be involved in drafting equipment layouts for new facilities.
✓ Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all production processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality standards.
✓ Troubleshooting: Act as the technical expert on the factory floor, diagnosing and resolving issues related to production machinery or processes to minimize downtime.
✓ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, supply chain, and maintenance, to ensure that the entire manufacturing process is cohesive and effective.
