Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Indian Cook to prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation. The candidate should have good knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen safety.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of North Indian, South Indian, and regional Indian dishes as per menu requirements.
Prepare vegetables, gravies, curries, dals, rice, breads, snacks, and other Indian dishes.
Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and preparation methods.
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of food.
Prepare ingredients by cutting, chopping, cleaning, marinating, and measuring.
Maintain proper food storage and ensure freshness of ingredients.
Monitor cooking temperatures and cooking times to maintain food quality.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, equipment, and work areas.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Minimize food wastage through proper preparation, storage, and portion control.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and other cooks for smooth meal preparation.
Assist in menu preparation and suggest new dishes when required.
Monitor availability of ingredients and inform the supervisor about shortages.
Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
Support timely preparation and service of meals during busy periods.
