Job Purpose The Junior Design Engineer will assist the engineering team in the conceptualization, modeling, detailing, and documentation of new products and structural assemblies. The main objective is to convert engineering inputs, rough sketches, and client requirements into precise, error-free 3D models and 2D production drawings, ensuring absolute compliance with manufacturing limits and drafting standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. 3D Modeling & 2D Drafting (Core Execution)CAD Modeling: Create detailed 3D part models and multi-component sub-assemblies based on technical parameters provided by senior engineers.

• ✓ Production Blueprints: Generate standard 2D engineering drawings for the production team, ensuring accurate section views, projections, and isometric layouts.GD&T Application: Correctly apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols, tolerances, and surface finish notes to minimize machining errors on the floor.2. Engineering Documentation & Bill of Materials (BOM)BOM Generation: Create and maintain comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Excel or ERP systems, listing every component, material grade, and part number required for assembly.
• ✓ Drawing Revisions (ECN): Process Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) to modify existing product designs based on performance feedback from clients or assembly limitations faced by the shop floor.
