Job Title: Stores & SCM Executive
Job Summary
The Stores & Supply Chain Management (SCM) Executive is responsible for overseeing inventory management, material planning, procurement coordination, warehouse operations, and supply chain activities to ensure the timely availability of materials and efficient inventory control. The role supports production and business operations by optimizing material flow and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily store operations including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment.
Track material movement and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and vendors for material planning and delivery schedules.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, and stock reports.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to FIFO, FEFO, and inventory control practices.
Coordinate transportation and logistics activities for inbound and outbound shipments.
Maintain warehouse organization, material identification, and storage standards.
Implement safety, quality, and housekeeping standards within the store and warehouse.
Generate MIS reports related to inventory, procurement, and supply chain performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in stores, warehouse management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other inventory management software.
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
