Technical Assistance Engineer
Job Summary
The Technical Assistance Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to customers, production teams, service personnel, and internal stakeholders. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting product installation and maintenance, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring timely resolution of technical concerns while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance and support for engineering products, equipment, and systems.
Analyze technical problems and identify appropriate solutions.
Support installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with design, production, quality, and service teams to resolve technical issues.
Prepare technical reports, manuals, troubleshooting guides, and documentation.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Assist customers and field engineers with product-related queries.
Monitor product performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Support new product development by providing field and customer insights.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
ITI
2-5 years of experience in technical support, engineering services, maintenance, or manufacturing.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and industrial processes.
Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.
Preferred Skills
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer-handling abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of ERP systems and technical service management tools.
