Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, accuracy in financial reporting, and knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounting transactions.
Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely processing of vendor payments and customer collections.
Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
Prepare financial reports and management reports as required.
Assist during internal and external audits.
Verify accounting documents and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance operations.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally ERP, Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in handling payroll processing and expense management.
Knowledge of financial audits and taxation procedures.
Good understanding of budgeting and cash flow management.
