Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and creative Continental Cook to prepare high-quality Continental dishes while maintaining consistent taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety standards. The candidate should have good knowledge of Continental cuisine and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of Continental dishes according to standard recipes and quality requirements.
Handle preparation of soups, salads, pasta, pizzas, sandwiches, steaks, sauces, grilled items, and other Continental specialties.
Perform food preparation, cutting, chopping, marination, cooking, and plating.
Ensure consistent taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
Follow standardized recipes and maintain proper food costs and portion control.
Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
Maintain proper storage and labeling of food items and ingredients.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service.
Monitor stock levels and inform the Chef/Sous Chef about ingredient requirements.
Minimize food wastage through proper handling and storage.
Assist in menu preparation and introduce new Continental dishes when required.
