Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate heavy commercial vehicles safely and efficiently for transportation of goods, materials, or equipment. The candidate should have a valid heavy motor vehicle driving licence, good knowledge of road safety, and a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, tankers, or other commercial vehicles as assigned.
Transport goods, materials, and equipment safely to designated locations.
Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and transportation instructions.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Check vehicle condition, tyres, brakes, lights, oil, coolant, and other essential components.
Ensure proper loading, unloading, and securing of materials.
Maintain delivery challans, trip sheets, fuel records, and other required documents.
Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.
Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, damages, or mechanical issues immediately.
Coordinate with transport supervisors, customers, loading teams, and warehouse personnel.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials.
Monitor fuel consumption and avoid unnecessary fuel wastage.
Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team when required.
Maintain professional and courteous behaviour with customers and other road users.
