Job Title: Steel Erector
Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious Steel Erectors to assemble, install, and secure structural steel components for buildings, warehouses, bridges, industrial plants, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should be experienced in reading structural drawings, working at heights, and using erection tools and equipment safely.
Key Responsibilities
Erect and install structural steel components such as beams, columns, trusses, and girders.
Read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and erection plans.
Align, position, and secure steel structures using bolts, welds, and rigging equipment.
Assist in loading, unloading, and handling steel materials.
Operate hand tools, power tools, hoists, and lifting equipment safely.
Perform measurements and ensure structural accuracy and alignment.
Inspect steel members and report damages or defects.
Follow site safety regulations and use prescribed PPE at all times.
Coordinate with supervisors, welders, riggers, and crane operators to complete project activities.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8th Pass / 10th Pass preferred.
Relevant experience in steel erection, structural fabrication, or construction projects.
Ability to read basic structural drawings and measurements.
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Preferred Skills
Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of rigging and lifting procedures.
Familiarity with bolted and welded steel connections.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Understanding of structural steel erection standards.
