Factory Supervisor – Job Description

Education: Diploma / ITI / Any Graduate preferred. Diploma in Mechanical/Production is an advantage.

Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising day-to-day factory operations, production activities, manpower, quality, safety, and ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production and factory operations.
Allocate work to operators and workers as per production requirements.
Monitor production targets, schedules, and workflow.
Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Monitor product quality and coordinate with the Quality team.
Ensure workers follow SOPs, safety rules, and company procedures.
Monitor machine operations and report breakdowns to the maintenance team.
Maintain production records, attendance, and shift reports.
Identify production issues and take corrective action.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.
Minimize production downtime, wastage, and material loss.
Train and guide workers on work procedures and safety practices.
Prepare daily production and shift reports.
Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained on the shop floor.
