Job Title: MIS Executive (Management Information System Executive)
Job Summary
The MIS Executive is responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining organizational data to support business operations and decision-making. The role involves preparing reports, maintaining databases, analyzing business performance metrics, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights to management through effective MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, compile, verify, and analyze data from multiple sources.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc MIS reports for management.
Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.
Generate performance reports, dashboards, and business analytics.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide analytical insights.
Prepare sales reports, operational reports, inventory reports, and management presentations.
Develop and automate reports using Excel formulas, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Coordinate with departments to gather required business information.
Identify data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues.
Support management with data-driven decision-making.
Maintain documentation and records related to MIS processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
1-5 years of experience in MIS Reporting, Data Analysis, or Business Operations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good communication and reporting abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills
Expertise in Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros).
Experience with Google Sheets and MIS automation.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence tools.
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and database management systems.
Basic SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
