Job Title: In-Process Quality Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled In-Process Quality Engineer to monitor and control product quality throughout the manufacturing process. The candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying process deviations, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring products meet specified quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor quality at different stages of the manufacturing process.
Conduct in-process inspections as per control plans, inspection standards, and work instructions.
Inspect dimensions, specifications, appearance, and functional parameters of components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Gauges for inspection.
Identify defects, process deviations, and non-conformities during production.
Segregate and control rejected or defective components to prevent further processing.
Maintain inspection reports, quality records, rejection reports, and process documentation.
Monitor critical process parameters and ensure adherence to defined quality standards.
Coordinate with production and process teams to identify root causes of quality issues.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, 5 Why, and corrective/preventive action activities.
Support implementation of process improvements to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
Conduct first-piece, patrol, and final inspections as required.
Ensure calibration status of measuring instruments and gauges is maintained.
Support internal, customer, and quality-system audits.
Follow company quality procedures and applicable ISO/IATF standards where applicable.
Train and guide operators on quality requirements and defect prevention.
Key Skills & Technical Requirements
Required Technical Skills Strong knowledge of in-process quality inspection and manufacturing processes. Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T. Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of Control Plan

and Pareto Analysis. Knowledge of SPC
MSA
PPAP
FMEA
and APQP will be an advantage. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
