Electrical Engineer
The primary objective of an Electrical Engineer is to ensure that electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with global engineering codes and regulatory standards. They bridge the gap between high-level engineering drawings and real-world deployment, handling anything from low-voltage microchips to high-voltage power grids
Core Responsibilities and DutiesSystem Design & Drafting:
Create detailed schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring layouts, and technical drawings using advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software.Engineering Calculations: Perform precise load calculations, circuit and conductor sizing, protective device coordination studies, and arc flash assessments.Testing & Quality Assurance: Design and execute testing methodologies to evaluate the capabilities, safety, and reliability of electrical components and systems.Project Management: Establish construction, manufacturing, and installation standards while managing project budgets, timelines, and material procurement.On-Site Supervision & Maintenance: Oversee the actual physical installation of equipment, conduct site visits, and direct preventive maintenance or troubleshooting for system faults.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with project managers, clients, technicians, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.Safety Compliance: Implement strict safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Permit To Work (PTW) guidelines, and standard risk assessments.Required Technical Skills and Tools
