Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and technically proficient Data Science Trainer cum Data Scientist to deliver high-quality training programmes while developing data-driven solutions that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in statistics, machine learning, data analytics, and programming, combined with excellent communication and mentoring skills.
The role requires balancing hands-on data science projects with the design and delivery of engaging training sessions for students, professionals, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
Data Science & Analytics
Collect, clean, transform, and analyse structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
Develop predictive, descriptive, and prescriptive analytics models to address business challenges.
Build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and feature engineering.
Create dashboards, visualisations, and reports to communicate insights effectively.
Develop end-to-end data science solutions, from problem definition to deployment.
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Stay updated with the latest trends in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
Training & Knowledge Development
Design and deliver Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Statistics, SQL, and AI training programmes.
Create course content, training manuals, assignments, projects, and assessment materials.
Conduct classroom, virtual, and corporate training sessions.
Guide learners through real-world case studies and capstone projects.
Evaluate participant progress through quizzes, assignments, and practical assessments.
Mentor students and professionals in career development and project implementation.
Organise workshops, boot camps, webinars, and certification preparation programmes.
Research & Innovation
Explore emerging technologies and tools in Data Science and AI.
Conduct proof-of-concept projects and prototype development.
Contribute to curriculum enhancement and continuous learning initiatives.
Recommend best practices for analytics, machine learning, and data governance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-8 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Machine Learning, or related domains.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical analysis.
Hands-on experience with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
Experience working with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, predictive modelling, and data preprocessing techniques.
Excellent presentation, communication, and training delivery skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in training students, working professionals, or corporate teams.
Knowledge of Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI, and MLOps.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.
