Technician
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, systems, and machinery. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Repair or replace defective components and parts.
Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and operational procedures.
Test equipment after repairs to verify functionality and performance.
Coordinate with supervisors and team members to resolve technical issues.
Support production or operational teams to minimise downtime.
Maintain tools, instruments, and work areas in good condition.
Required Qualifications
ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
Basic understanding of maintenance and repair procedures.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
Knowledge of safety standards and operational practices.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with industrial machinery or technical equipment.
Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
Ability to use diagnostic and testing tools.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Experience
Junior Technician: 0 to 2 years of experience.
Technician: 2 to 5 years of experience.
Senior Technician: 5+ years of relevant experience.
