Job Summary

We are looking for an ITI Fitter (Assembly) responsible for assembling mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and machines as per engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of components and sub-assemblies.
Read and understand engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
Assemble machine parts using hand tools, power tools, and fitting tools.
Perform fitting operations such as drilling, tapping, grinding, filing, and alignment.
Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Ensure proper alignment, positioning, tightening, and fastening of components.
Identify and report defective or damaged components during assembly.
Ensure assembled products meet defined quality and dimensional requirements.
Perform functional checks and basic testing of assembled units.
Maintain proper sequence and productivity as per assembly targets.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness as per 5S standards.
Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to resolve assembly-related issues.
Record production, inspection, and rejection details as required.
