Drafting & Drawing Creation: Prepare clear, complete, and accurate 2D manufacturing drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD based on engineer instructions and rough sketches.
Revision & Modification: Update and revise existing engineering drawings based on engineering change notes (ECNs), design updates, or feedback from the shop floor.
Dimensioning & Tolerancing: Apply appropriate dimensions, annotations, limits, fits, and basic tolerances to drawings to ensure parts fit together correctly during assembly.
✓Standardization: Maintain and organize the drawing database, ensuring all files follow standardized layers, line weights, title blocks, and numbering systems.
Cross-checking & Verification: Review completed drawings for accuracy, checking calculations, material callouts, and spelling before submitting them for engineering approval.
✓BOM Coordination: Assist in extracting quantities and technical data from drawings to help compile Bill of Materials (BOM) or estimation sheets.
