Job Title: Field Fiber Maintenance Executive
Job Summary:
We are hiring Field Fiber Maintenance Executives to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fiber optic network infrastructure. The role involves field visits, fault rectification, preventive maintenance, and ensuring uninterrupted internet and telecom services for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables and network equipment.
Identify and troubleshoot fiber network issues and service disruptions.
Conduct fiber splicing, jointing, and testing activities.
Attend customer complaints and resolve connectivity issues within defined timelines.
Carry out preventive maintenance of fiber networks and related equipment.
Monitor network performance and report faults to supervisors.
Coordinate with technical support teams and network engineers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Maintain daily work reports and service records.
Handle emergency breakdowns and restoration activities when required.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10th Pass / 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field.
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Basic knowledge of fiber optic networks and telecom infrastructure.
Willingness to travel locally for fieldwork.
Valid two-wheeler and driving license preferred.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Fiber Optic Cable (OFC) installation and maintenance.
Understanding of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks.
Experience using OTDR, Power Meter, Fusion Splicer, and related testing equipment.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and customer handling abilities.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
