Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Mechanical Manager to lead the planning, execution, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical operations. The ideal candidate will oversee mechanical teams, ensure equipment reliability, manage projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise mechanical maintenance and engineering activities.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of mechanical equipment and systems.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical failures.
Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical projects within budget and timelines.
Coordinate with production, operations, and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
Train, mentor, and evaluate mechanical staff and technicians.
Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and project status.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and industrial equipment.
Understanding of preventive maintenance, TPM, and reliability engineering principles.
Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software (CMMS).
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, FMCG, power, chemical, or industrial sectors.
Knowledge of HVAC, pumps, compressors, boilers, conveyors, and utility systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Strong project management and team leadership capabilities.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
