We are looking for an In-Process Quality Inspector responsible for monitoring manufacturing processes and ensuring that products meet defined quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements at every stage of production.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, components, and products at different stages of production.
Conduct in-process inspections as per quality plans, drawings, specifications, and SOPs.
Perform dimensional and visual inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Gauges, and other inspection tools.
Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities during the manufacturing process.
Ensure corrective actions are implemented for identified quality issues.
Maintain inspection reports, quality records, check sheets, and rejection records.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor critical process parameters and ensure compliance with defined standards.
Support root cause analysis and CAPA for recurring quality problems.
Ensure proper identification and segregation of rejected/non-conforming materials.
Assist in maintaining and improving quality standards and inspection procedures.
Follow company safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of basic 7 QC tools and quality concepts is preferred.
Hands-on experience with measuring and inspection instruments.
Good observation and analytical skills.
Ability to identify defects and take timely corrective action.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, ISO/QMS will be an advantage.
