Job Summary
The Field Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring field activities to ensure effective programme implementation and operational efficiency. The role involves working closely with field teams, stakeholders, community members, and management to achieve project objectives, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee day-to-day field operations and activities.
Support the implementation of projects, programmes, or surveys according to established plans and timelines.
Supervise field staff, volunteers, or enumerators and provide guidance as required.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Collect, verify, and submit field data, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.
Liaise with local stakeholders, community representatives, government agencies, and partners.
Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
Organise meetings, trainings, and awareness programmes in assigned locations.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, safety guidelines, and project requirements.
Maintain records of field activities, attendance, expenses, and project outcomes.
Provide regular updates and progress reports to management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Business Administration, Public Health, Agriculture, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of relevant field coordination or project implementation experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively within assigned areas.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data reporting.
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with communities, NGOs, development projects, or field operations.
Knowledge of local language(s) and regional dynamics.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience in monitoring, data collection, and reporting.
