Civil Engineer (Full Time)

Civil Engineer is involved throughout the entire life cycle of an infrastructure project.

1. Planning & Conception

• ✓ Feasibility Studies: Conduct initial investigations to determine a project’s technical, economic, and environmental viability.
• ✓ Data Analysis: Analyze data from surveys, long-range plans, and traffic patterns to inform the project design.
• ✓ Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards, risks, and environmental impacts during the initial planning phase.

Budget & Timeline: Develop preliminary budgets, resource allocations, and overall project schedules.

2. Design & Pre-Construction

• ✓ Detailed Design: Create final technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints using specialized software.
• ✓ Structural Analysis: Perform complex calculations to ensure the strength, stability, and durability of the proposed structure.
• ✓ Permitting: Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to obtain regulatory permits and approvals.
• ✓ Tendering: Assist in compiling job specifications and supervising the contractor tendering and bidding process.

3. Construction & Supervision

• ✓ On-Site Management: Supervise the construction process, manage daily site activities, and guide field personnel.
• ✓ Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work adheres to the design and quality specifications.
• ✓ Material Logistics: Monitor the inflow, usage, and quality of raw materials and equipment.
• ✓ Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical problems and deficiencies that arise during construction.
• ✓ Safety Enforcement: Ensure that safe work practices and all required safety protocols are consistently followed.

4. Post-Construction & Maintenance

• ✓ Project Handover: Prepare technical files and documentation for the resulting structure or service.

Operation & Assessment: Oversee the initial operation and performance assessment of the completed infrastructure.

• ✓ Maintenance Planning: Develop comprehensive plans for the long-term repair, maintenance, and replacement of infrastructure components.
