Mechanical Engineer – Nashik

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance:

Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities (like compressors, boilers, HVAC, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems).

Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and implement root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.

Process & Production Optimization:

Assist in production planning and control (PPC) to ensure manufacturing targets are achieved smoothly.

Implement continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM) to enhance shop-floor efficiency and minimize downtime.

Design & Development (If applicable to the specific domain):

Read, interpret, and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Collaborate on the installation and commissioning of new machinery and capital equipment (CAPEX).

Quality & Safety Compliance:

Ensure all mechanical processes and finished products comply with international quality standards (like ISO 9001).

Enforce a strict culture of industrial safety and environmental compliance across the plant.
