Supervise daily on-site construction activities including excavation, RCC frameworks, brickwork, plastering, flooring, and finishing.
Assign daily targets to laborers, masons, and sub-contractors, monitoring their progress throughout the shift.
Cross-verify on-site execution against approved structural and architectural drawings to eliminate alignment or dimensional errors.
2. Material Management & Quality Control
Supervise the receiving, unloading, and secure storage of construction materials (such as cement, steel, sand, and bricks).
Maintain precise records of daily material consumption and implement strict measures to minimize raw material wastage or theft.
Conduct routine visual checks on concrete mixing ratios, reinforcement bindings, and brick alignments to enforce strict quality benchmarks.
3. Safety, Documentation & Reporting
Enforce safety protocols on site, ensuring all workers wear essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as helmets, jackets, and safety harnesses.
Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR) detailing workforce count, completed tasks, and material usage to the Project Engineer/Manager.
Take accurate physical measurements of work completed by sub-contractors to assist the billing team in processing running account (RA) bills.
